Union Delegates Elect New Columbia Union Vice President and General Counsel

Delegates to the Columbia Union Conference 28th Quinquennial Constituency Meeting elected Lisa Saveikis Burrow as the new vice president and general counsel.

Burrow, who most recently served as the assistant to the general counsel at the Columbia Union, will replace Walter Carson, who is retiring at the end of May.

Burrow says she is humbled by the new position: “There are days when I ask, why me? But I have seen God at work in this process, and I do believe He has answered prayers and has led me here, so I am ready to serve.”

Columbia Union Ministries and Services: WGTS 91.9

Soon after celebrating 60 years of ministry, WGTS 91.9, led by Kevin Krueger, president and general manager, purchased its license from WAU and moved into new office space, outfitted to support the needs of this growing media ministry that reaches half a million listeners each week. The enthusiastic team hosts concerts, worship services, a vital prayer ministry and many on-air and in-person events designed to invite listeners “to take one step closer to Christ.”

ADRA, Adventist Church and Adventist Health International Join Forces to Rush Relief to Help India's COVID 19 Crisis

The humanitarian agency is partnering with the Seventh-day Adventist World Church, including its Health Ministries Department, and Adventist Health International (AHI), to expand relief operations in the South Asian nation.
