Recent events have brought the concept of the Sabbath to the forefront of many conversations. As Seventh-day Adventists we know that taking time off from secular things for one day out of every seven helps us de-stress, focuses us on our relationship with God and others, and brings about a spiritual rejuvenation. But as Seventh-day Adventists we also know that God’s gift of the Sabbath has far more significance than just a reset. The Sabbath is a memorial of creation, a part of God's unchangeable law, a time for relationship and worship, and a universal test for all humanity.




This summer, Vice Principal Ken Knudsen accepted a call to serve as principal of the Hinsdale Adventist Academy (Ill.). To address this new vacancy, Trevor Ross accepted the position of vice principal for junior high and high school.
Spencerville Adventist Academy (SAA) is pleased to announce that Alejandra Chow will transition from her current role as assistant business manager to serve as the new registrar.
